St George Illawarra’s 2010 premiership-winning captain Ben Hornby and grand final teammates Ben Creagh and Jason Nightingale have been inducted into St George District s Legends Walk at Kogarah, along with members of the inaugural St George Dragons team of 1921.
Hornby, Creagh and Nightingale were chosen to join the 18 legends already inducted and the 1921 St George team in the walk outside Netstrata Jubilee Stadium as part of St George District s centenary celebrations at Sunday s match against Canterbury.
“This is a huge honour and something of which I am very proud,” Hornby said. “It’s a great achievement and a great acknowledgement for all of us here today off the back of all the effort and sacrifices we made as individuals, and as clubman.

ATLANTA, GA Gov. Brian Kemp made it illegal for health insurers to completely deny coverage to Georgians with preexisting medical conditions.
Kemp signed House Bill 509 into law Thursday, which requires insurers to provide at least one reasonably-priced comprehensive major medical health insurance policy that does not exclude, limit, deny or delay coverage in this specific policy based on one or more preexisting conditions.

State legislative leaders and members of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) are spearheading many of the GOP s efforts at voter suppression in the states, especially those that saw close 2020 presidential results. More than 360 bills have been introduced in 47 states to restrict voting access since the beginning of the year, according to the Brennan Center for Justice, which tracks state legislation on voting and elections.
The Center for Media and Democracy has determined that more than 100 Republican politicians connected to ALEC in just six battleground states are lead sponsors or co-sponsors of those bills.
