Edgar Pendley and his team at Tennfold Brewing are at it again! On the heels of his wildly successful free Thanksgiving meal giveaway, Pendley decided to continue his holiday generosity by offering free Christmas dinners for pickup from the brewery/pizzeria at 2408 McGavock Pike on Dec. 22 and 23.
In a nod to the popular Angel Tree program, Tennfold began displaying cute pizza slice Christmas tree cutouts on the walls of the restaurant, offering the chance for patrons to purchase a meal of turkey, greens, mashed potatoes and gravy for $5.50. In the first week, they were pleased to get about 100 sponsored meals paid for. And after posting last night about the program on Facebook and Instagram, Pendley woke up with more than 500 meals bought and paid for to give away yet another demonstration of both the power of social media and the generosity of Nashvillians.
