A man who said he was in “panic mode” when he committed his crimes was denied a shorter sentence despite being bereaved, homeless and dealing with mental-health issues.
Steven J. Baranyi, 44, pleaded guilty recently in Ontario Court in Brantford to assault, robbery, mischief and two breaches of probation.
