June 9, 2021 ORIGINAL STORY: WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night. It happened around 9:20 in the 2000 block of Watson Boulevard, according to a Warner Robins Police news release. Police say witnesses reported and video showed a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling west in the outside lane of Watson Boulevard near Budget Inn when a female trying to cross Watson Boulevard on foot walked into the vehicle’s path and was struck. The victim was taken to Atrium Health Navicent, The Medical Center in Macon.

June 4, 2021 WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  Warner Robins Police say a traffic accident Friday night led to a fight and then a shooting. A WRPD news release says officers were dispatched to the intersection of Todd Circle and Kimberly Road around 5:30 in reference to two males fighting. One of the males was shot before officers arrived. Police say the preliminary investigation shows the two were involved in an accident on Watson Boulevard and then followed each other to the scene of the shooting. One of the drivers exited his vehicle to confront the other, and a fight started. One of the men was armed with a hammer. The other was armed with a gun.

WRPD hosted its Cops on Donut Shops fundraiser at Dunkin Donut locations Friday. June 4, 2021 Warner Robins Police officers raised money during Cops on Donut Shops Friday. The police department hosted its “Cops on Donut Shops” fundraiser at Dunkin Donut locations throughout the area Friday on National Doughnut Day. We spoke with Captain John Clay about the importance of the fundraiser. “It allows people with developmental disabilities to participate in different types of competitions, athletic competitions,” Captain Clay said. “And it helps build up their self-esteem. It shows they can do things just like everybody else in the world that they’re no different than everybody else.”
