A 33-year-old man has been arrested in the Republic over the attempted murder of an off-duty PSNI officer in Eglinton, Co Derry, six years ago.
The man was arrested under a European Arrest Warrant by gardaí yesterday morning.
He was wanted in Northern Ireland after a bomb was placed under the car of an off-duty PSNI officer in Eglinton on June 18 2015.
