But thanks to planting hatchery fish on a regular basis, it was brought back from the brink and is now flourishing and featuring natural reproduction. That includes both the Ubly and Cass City school districts, both of which are going virtual due to quarantined students and a shortage of staff members. “We have about seven or eight kids who tested positive and about six to seven staff members also,” said Ubly School District Superintendent Joe Candella. “Because of that, we will be going virtual this week.”
