Mumbai: UPL Ltd on Friday announced that it has set-up plants at eight hospitals in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, UP, and New Delhi to generate oxygen.
UPL has stepped up it’s innovation and converted four of its nitrogen production plants in Gujarat, to produce and deliver oxygen to four hospitals in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. These converted plants are operational at Government Ayurvedic College in Chauka Ghat, Varanasi, Haria L G Rotary Hospital in Vapi, Jayaben Hospital in Ankleshwar and Government Hospital in Jambusar, Bharuch.

NEW DELHI: Benchmark indices extended gains to a second straight day on Monday amid buying interest seen in financial and realty stocks, buoyed by improving Covid-19 conditions and strong global cues.
A steady decline in fresh Covid cases and hopes of the lockdown being lifted sooner boosted the sentiment on Dalal Street.
The 30-share pack Sensex added 111.42 points or 0.22 per cent to close at 50,651.90. The index traded in a range of 391.69 points during the day. Its broader peer NSE Nifty advanced 22.40 points or 0.15 per cent to settle at 15,197.70.
