Over the weekend, 14-year-old Zane McQuivey was taken to the hospital in critical condition after the Off-highway vehicle rolled on top of him. He later succumbed to his injuries and later died, according to Utah State Parks & Recreation.
McQuivey had been driving the vehicle in the Purple Hills area of Warner Valley when his OHV crashed and rolled over the top of him. It is believed the vehicle was traveling at slow speeds up a hill when it turned and rolled.
A passenger, now confirmed as a 38-year-old man, was also injured in the accident. He is expected to recover.

Zane McQuivey, of St. George, was injured when the “side-by-side off-highway vehicle” he was driving crashed in the Purple Hills area of Warner Valley, southeast of St. George near the Arizona border, according to the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation.
