Pitching Is The Difference In Signal Mountain Win
Eagles Hunter Davis Allows Only One Hit In 9-0 Win Over Central Wednesday, April 28, 2021 - by William Shelton
Signal Mountain pitcher Hunter Davis started heating things up early under the lights against Central on Tuesday night. In the first inning his fastest stuff had a distinct sizzling sound as it reached the catcher’s mitt.
That sizzle lasted throughout his seven innings on the mound or the Eagles. By the end of the night Davis had given up only one hit, while striking out 10. He allowed only five men on base.
In the first inning Central pitcher Dylan Brown showed off his curve ball, and despite giving up three hits and one run, he still got out out of the inning after only facing five batters.
