Staff of Tando Adam Police Station suspended

SUKKUR: The SSP Sanghar has suspended the entire staff of Police Station Tando Adam for negligence and misuse of power, when they deliberately tried to manipulate the truth in a murder case.
Reports said SSP Sanghar, Usman Ghani Siddiqui, has suspended SHO Police Station, Tando Adam, Inspector Khadim Hussain, ASI Tasawwar Hussain, WPC Ghulam Hussain and PC Peer Bakhsh, when he got information that in their jurisdiction, a woman, Kanwal, w/o Muhammad Amin, allegedly committed suicide over a domestic issue with her husband. The SSP after getting information from his sources, initiated an investigation himself, and met with Shazia, daughter of the deceased woman, and asked her about the incident. Shazia then informed the police official that her mother did not commit suicide but she was killed by her grandfather, identified as Photo Khan Chang. SANGHAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2021 ) :The Deputy Commissioner Imran-ul-Hassan Khwaja and SSP Usman Ghani Siddiqui on Tuesday visited polling stations during by-election in PS-43Jam Nawaz Ali and reviewed polling process.
According to a handout, Deputy Commissioner talking to the media said that the district administration had already completed arrangements for elections while availability of required facilities were ensured at each polling station.
He said that the Election Commission was conducting the voting process smoothly while district administration was also providing every possible help in this regard.

SUKKUR: DIG Shaheed Benazirabad Range Mazhar Nawaz Sheikh held a meeting on Thursday to review the law and order situation in the range, besides approving Rs1.922 million to the Police Welfare Fund.
SSP Shaheed Benazirabad Tanveer Hussain Tunio, SSP Sanghar Usman Ghani Siddiqui and SSP Naushahro Feroz Altaf Hussain Leghari attended the meeting. Addressing the meeting, DIG Mazhar Nawaz Sheikh said that security arrangements should be ensured for the protection of life and property of the people in Shaheed Benazirabad Range and warned the police officers against any negligence.
Later in a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee, three Head Constable drivers were promoted to ASI. In yet another meeting of Police Welfare Committee, DIG Mazhar Nawaz Sh` eikh approved Rs1.922 million for the Police Welfare Fund. He distributed Rs822,000 as retirement grant among 31 retired employees and gave Rs.8 million as dowry to 13 daughters of martyred policemen.
Karo Kari: Man shoots sister dead allegedly over honour in Sindh s Ubauro

SUKKUR: In the latest case of the so-called Karo Kari tradition, or honour killing, a man shot dead his sister over suspicions that she had illicit relations with a boy here in the Ubauro town of Sindh s Ghotki district.
Liaquat Shar reportedly shot dead his younger sister, identified as Subhana Shar, because he believed she was involved in
haram , or unlawful, relationship with a boy. The suspect, however, managed to flee and escape arrest by police.
Police confirmed having received and shifting a body to the local hospital but made no comment on Shar s arrest. It was unclear if any search parties were formed to nab the suspect.
