Local Grand Jury seated Monday
The Taylor County Clerk of Court’s office will begin the process of selecting a grand jury known as the “sword and shield of justice” for the spring 2021 season on Monday, March 8.
Some 90 prospective grand jurors have been summoned to report to the local courthouse at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning, at which point 15 to 21 individuals will be empaneled by a judge of the circuit court to act as Taylor County’s grand jury for five to six months of intermittent service.
