COTABATO CITY: Five municipalities in the Bangsamoro region each received a P25-million financing and capacity-building fund from the Bangsamoro Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG).
Together with five mayors, MILG Minister Naguib Sinarimbo signed on Saturday memoranda of agreements for the implementation of the two-story municipal government centers.
The municipalities of Sultan Dumalondong, Butig, Poona Bayabao and Lumbaca Unayan of Lanao del Sur, along with Pandag of Maguindanao province, were among the identified towns with no permanent and dedicated municipal halls for the longest time, according to Sinarimbo.
The project is part of MILG’s comprehensive intervention and support to the local governments through its Local Government Facilities Development Program and the Support to Local Government Unit Infrastructure Development Project.

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Five municipalities in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region In Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) received P25-million each for the construction of two-storey municipal government centers.
Ministry of Interior and Local Government (MILG) Minister Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo, together with the mayors of Sultan Dumalondong, Butig, Poona Bayabao, and Lumbaca Unayan of Lanao del Sur along with Pandag of Maguindanao province, signed the memoranda of agreement (MOA) on Thursday, December 23, for the implementation of the projects in their respective municipalities.
“This project is part of MILG’s comprehensive intervention and support to the local governments through its Local Government Facilities Development Program (LGFDP) and the Support to Local Government Unit Infrastructure Development Project (SLGUIDP),” he said.
