El Tribunal de Arbitraje Deportivo (TAS) ha aplazado la audiencia prevista, del 6 al 8 de junio, para estudiar los recursos de la Unión Ciclista Internacional (UCI) y la Agencia Mundial Antidopaje (AMA) contra la absolución por parte del Comité de Competición de la Real Federación Española de Ciclismo (RFEC) del corredor español Alberto Contador por su posible positivo por clembuterol en el Tour de 2010.
En un comunicado en su web, el TAS informa de que, tras el acuerdo entre las partes, “ha aceptado aplazar la audiencia en este caso con el fin de dar a todas las partes implicadas un plazo razonable para preparar esta audiencia y para garantizar la participación presencial de testigos y expertos”.
