All students must have a negative COVID-19 test result from a University-provided test on file

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. As the Feb. 15 return to in-person instruction approaches, all Penn State students at all campus locations are reminded that they must have a negative COVID-19 test result from a University-provided test on file prior to, and within 72 hours of, their return to their campus community.
All students are urged to log in to the “Know Your Status” portal immediately to make sure they have completed the testing requirement, and to get started with ordering a test from Vault Health if they have not done so already. Vault Health self-test kits will be provided to students at no cost.

New rankings by U.S. News & World Report place Penn State’s online programs – including programs developed and taught by faculty members at Penn State Behrend – among the best in the nation. Six programs earned top-10 rankings, including the online MBA.
U.S. News developed the rankings based on statistical and peer-reputation surveys that measure engagement, faculty credentials and student excellence, among other factors. More than 350 institutions participated.
Penn State has more top-10 programs than any other institution in the rankings, which were released Jan. 26. The following programs are listed:

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. As part of the University’s comprehensive testing strategy for the spring semester, all Penn State students must meet requirements for COVID-19 testing prior to their return or if they are already living in their campus community. Students who do not complete the requirements will not be able to move in to on-campus housing and/or to participate in on-campus activities until they complete the testing process. Self-test kits will be provided to students at no cost.
To get started, all students should first log in to the “Know Your Status” portal and check their test status. For help with planning, students also can use the COVID-19 Testing Requirements Checklist.

Vasilatos-Younken has led graduate education at Penn State since 2013, when she was named interim dean, before being appointed to the role permanently in May 2015. Previously, Vasilatos-Younken served as senior associate dean of the Graduate School from 2000 to 2013.
A national search will begin immediately to identify Vasilatos-Younken’s successor.
