Today, volunteers of A says rolled up their sleeves, removing graffiti from buildings, picking up trash and beautifying areas near the campus. Today s clean Up was a part of a says global campaign to reduce crime based off the broken window theory. When you see a lot of crime in an area litter graffiti, it incites more crime. But if we do the opposite, if we clean up the graffiti, if we pick up the letter, it actually will decrease crime and this this theory was tested in new york city and proven to be true.
