A couple of online concerts with strong links to Stratford offer opportunities to enjoy the work of two renowned Canadian performers Saturday evening.
Ottawa-based folk singer Craig Cardiff is preparing to release his first album in six years this summer but, before that happens, he’s scheduled a lineup of online shows including one that will double as a fundraiser for the local branch of the United Way.
“We’re certainly happy to offer some entertainment to people during this challenging time,” Chad Alberico, a United Way spokesperson, said Thursday. “It’s a great way to support the community through United Way Perth-Huron as well as supporting a Canadian artist.”

Ryan Schude is an LA based photographer who has created a unique, high-contrast tableau aesthetic for photography. He works with an array of clients for commercial work while also building a large and continuing collection of personal artistic works.
Schude creates miniature worlds frozen in time. Each character in a Schude tableau has their own story. Often there is no obvious or even existent through line for the characters in the tableau to denote their need to occupy the same time and space.
