The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will host an Arts & Crafts Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, the festival is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. The festival will take place on the campus of the chamber of commerce at 216 Collins Ave. in South Point adjacent to U.S. 52.

CANNONSBURG Boyd County Clerk Kevin Johnston said his staff has fielded daily calls inquiring about when the officeâs new branch would open.
Ask no more.
A giant scissors-wielding Johnston cut the ribbon during an open-house ceremony conducted by Ashland Alliance on Wednesday afternoon at the new Cannonsburg branch of the Boyd County Clerkâs Office, signifying its official unveiling. The office will be open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the first and last Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon. The locationâs phone number is (606)â929-9595.
The branch is housed in the Members Choice Credit Union at 1315 Cannonsburg Road in front of Hampton Inn and Walmart â and across from Super Quik. The entrance is at the front of the building, facing U.S. 60.
ASHLANDÂ With an overwhelmingly positive approval rate, according to Members Choice Credit Union, members of Greenup County Federal Credit Union (GCFCU) voted in favor of the merger with Members Choice.Â
This was the final step in the approval process and was announced at a special meeting on Feb. 3. The merger will be effective on March 1, with the completion taking place over the weekend of Feb. 26. GCFCU has one location in downtown Russell on the corner of Bellefonte Street and Poplar Alley and will remain open, according to a press release.
