A local business owner is advocating for the Ford government to reverse course on their decision to close boat launches.
Right now, under the new orders put in place, marinas and boat launches are off limits.
Ray Ferris, owner of Old Cut Boat Livery in Long Point, believes the closure of the boat launches is nothing more than an oversight by the provincial government as they were trying to stop the rapid spread of COVID-19 variants.
Much like the provincial rollback on playgrounds, he is confident a similar decision will be made.
