New Delhi: In a major announcement by Punjab government, girl students in school and colleges will be given sanitary pads as part of the welfare scheme of the state government.
The Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh also announced that the month of January will be dedicated to promoting the welfare of female children through the Dheeiyan Di Lohri programme.
