The event is set for 4 – 9 p.m. April 27 at Avondale Brewing, address 201 41st St.
Founded in California, Cousins has trucks and/or restaurants in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina and Ohio.
The Birmingham truck will be the venture’s first Alabama-based truck.
Cousins Maine Lobster launched its first truck in 2012 in Los Angeles.

Two cousins from Maine â who, in 2012, had a food truck, some lobster, and a dream â are now co-hosts of Food Networkâs new show âFood Truck Rehab.â
The series premiered April 11 and sees Jim Tselikis and cousin Sabin Lomac rehabbing struggling food truck businesses from the wheels up, from truck to menu to social media.

Jim Tselikis and Sabin Lomac, who founded Cousins Maine Lobster, now worldwide food truck brand, want to help food truck operators who are having business difficulty.
They ll be doling out advice and insight in a reality show debuting this month on Food Network, according to a News Center report.
The reality show, called Food Truck Rehab, will air on Sundays at 11 p.m. EST.
Budd Dairy Food Hall is capitalizing on a growing trend: offer a diversity of vendors featuring mostly simple, inexpensive fare and a spacious, cafeteria-style place to sit and grab a drink.
The food hall, part of the locally based Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ portfolio, opened Wednesday at 1086 N. Fourth St. in Italian Village.
The first-floor center of the space is occupied by Comfort Kitchen, Boni: Filipino Street Kitchen, Borgata, Cousins Maine Lobster, Cluck Norris, Modern Southern Table and Stauf’s, bookended by Pokebap and Tacos Rudos. A frequently rotating pop-up space, called the Hatch, is now occupied by the Cheesecake Girl.
