Subscriber only A man with 125 convictions on his 14-page criminal record, including 83 dishonesty offences, has spent more time in prison than in the community and is not eligible for parole until October this year. Justin Leigh Orchard, 27, pleaded guilty on March 12 in Rockhampton Magistrates Court to 10 charges including enter premises, obstruct police, stealing, attempt to enter premises, unlicensed driving and possess dangerous drugs. The court heard Orchard attempted to get into motor vehicles (attempted enter premises) and stole a boys bike. Police prosecutor Sergeant Barry Stevens said Orchard had been released on parole on May 18, 2020, and started reoffending 11 days later.

She grew up with her heroin addicted and drug dealing mother and ended up addicted to morphine herself.
Roxanne Jade McGrady, 34, pleaded guilty in Rockhampton Magistrates Court on December 4 to three counts of unlicensed driving, two of stealing, and one each of failing to appear in court, possess dangerous drug, drink drive and unlawful possession of suspected stolen items.
Defence lawyer Samantha Legrady said McGrady had gone to Sydney and ended up stuck in the New South Wales capital due to COVID-19.
She said McGrady, a mother of six, had plans to relocated to Towoomba to be with her partner.
She did, and she got caught.
The 32-year-old pleaded guilty in Biloela Magistrates Court this month to one count of driving while suspended by a court order.
The court heard that at 8.45pm on October 27, Calliope police intercepted Mcclymont driving on the Dawson Highway.
Checks on Mcclymont’s licence revealed it had been suspended by a court order in July for six months.
When asked if she had an emergent reason for driving, Mcclymont told police her father had a heart attack in Brisbane and she was travelling to see him.
Police Prosecutor Darrell Dalton said Mcclymont had one entry of relevance from April.
