What is your view on the markets? Do you think a healthy-ish correction was warranted and that is exactly what we have started right now?
We have waited for this correction for a long time but the right strategy at this point in time is to look for where growth is likely to return and position wherever it has not been priced into the stock price. Even though there will be growth for the next couple of years in the Indian market, we are coming back after almost a three-four years of virtual famine in earning growth. Post Covid, all the cost structures are completely aligned and following the latest Budget push, we should be positioned for incoming growth but we also need to be very careful about the valuations at which we enter. The entry multiples are nowhere close to the value zone, at least in the near term.
