BERRIA (CANTABRIA), SPAIN – Jane Urban Taylor, born in Sacramento, Calif., died at her home in Spain at dawn on Feb. 15, 2021, after a short illness.
Jane grew up in California and Georgia before moving to the Chicago area. A graduate of Northwestern University (B.A., 1962), University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana (M.A., 1964), and University of Chicago Booth School of Business (M.B.A., 1971), Jane went on to develop a career in International Market Research. One of the first women to advance to executive level in that field, she attributed her success to always being better prepared than the competition. At Searle (1973-77) and then at Pfizer (1980-98), Jane was known among her colleagues for her acumen, her leadership, and her kindness toward all members of her team, from fellow associate directors

ROCKWELL CITY Carl J. Prince 58, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 29, 2021 at his home. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the United Methodist Church, Rockwell City, with Pastor Anita Bane officiating. Burial of casket will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Rockwell City. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 5, at the Palmer & Swank Funeral Home, Rockwell City.

Doris Swanner-Black passed away peacefully on February 24, 2021 in Dallas. She was born on December 26, 1935 to Benjamin “Buck” and Lucille Mathis in Maud, Texas.
She loved God, her family, her churches, nursing, traveling, airplanes, and riding motorcycles. She lived life to the fullest and had many passions, from helping others, entertaining, volunteering, and staying healthy. It didn’t matter if it was an adventure or trying new things, she was all-in and full-speed ahead. She was very involved in her churches, the Mt. Pleasant Church of God of Prophesy / Family Worship and the Northeast Texas Bikers Church. In 1951 Doris married Devon Swanner in Houston
