A Dallas man was arrested this week after the fatal shooting of another man, which he told police was accidental, authorities said.
Police were called just before 9 p.m. Wednesday to an apartment in the 1900 block of High Hill Boulevard, near South Corinth Street Road in east Oak Cliff.
Officers found Broderick Young, 20, on the floor with a single gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

A 27-year-old man was arrested Monday in the shooting of his wife, who died Sunday afternoon in east Oak Cliff, Dallas police say.
Officers who were called about 5 p.m. to an apartment complex in the 1000 block of North High Hill Place, near High Hill Boulevard and South Corinth Street Road, found Raesha Allison, 29, suffering from several gunshot wounds.
Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced her dead at the scene.

DALLAS, Texas Dallas police are asking for the public s help after a woman was found shot to death- Sunday in east Oak Cliff.
Police responded to the shooting at 1010 N. High Hill Place, near the intersection of S. Corinth Street Road and High Hill Boulevard, at about 5 p.m. Sunday.
Officers discovered a 29-year-old woman at the location who had been shot multiple times. She died at the scene, police said in a statement Monday.
The woman was identified as Raesha Danyel Nelson-Allison. No further information was provided, but police said the investigation is ongoing.
Police have not released any information about potential suspects.
