Over 50 women sat around Ambreesh Sharmaâs body. âMy father stood up for me. That was his only fault,â said Nisha, 24. According to her, Ambreesh, 50, was killed by Gaurav Sharma. In July 2018, Nisha had filed a case against Gaurav for sexual harassment. Gaurav was arrested but released on bail a month later.
âHe had been threatening us and asking us to withdraw the case against him. He used to keep saying he will kill us. We just never expected it to happen,â said Nisha, breaking down.

New Delhi: Uttar Pradeshâs Hathras is once again in the news, this time for the killing of a 50-year-old man in broad daylight. Awanish Kumar Sharma, a farmer, was killed by Gaurav Sharma, a resident of Bahraich district, along with 5 others, who shot at him multiple times using unlicensed guns.
