Homevalue and affiliate stores across Longford have launched a new campaign entitled Build An Irish Home, aimed at supporting local Irish suppliers of building, home improvement and garden products.
The new Build an Irish Home campaign, which is the first of its kind and has the backing of Guaranteed Irish, will see Lovell s Homevalue promote and prioritise local Irish suppliers in each product category in an effort to stimulate the Irish economy in response to the challenges brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Waterford family business Apparel Supply is recruiting 30 staff as part of its development of a new medical device face mask production facility in workLAB on the IDA Industrial Estate.
Apparel Supply already employs 35 staff across its Industrial and sportswear divisions in Waterford.
The Azzurri sportswear line was facing indefinite closure when the pandemic hit last year and management took the decision to move into the manufacturing of reusable face masks, initially distributed free to regional nursing homes, voluntary groups, and community groups.
