Insaf Sasti shops functional - Daily Times

Daily Times April 11, 2021 Insaf Sasti Shops have been established outside the 40 Mega Stores in the city to provide essential items to the consumers. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali visited various mega stores and reviewed the availability, quality and sale process of fruits, vegetables and groceries at Insaf Sasti Shops. Additional Deputy Commissioner General Khurram Pervez and Assistant Commissioner Sadar Umar Maqbool were also present on the occasion. Deputy Commissioner said that “Insaf Sasti Shops” are being set up outside 40 big superstores of the city which will be fully functional before the month of Ramadan where consumers will be provided standard fruits and vegetables, pulses, basins, flour, sugar and other basic necessities in the general market. He asked the management of Marts to display the price lists of the items in a prominent place so that the buyers would be aware of the prices and there should be no shortage of any item.

Anti-typhoid campaign under way APP February 05, 2021 FAISALABAD: As many as 478,222 children were administered anti-typhoid vaccine during three days of the ongoing typhoid vaccination campaign in urban areas of the district. Additional deputy commissioner-general (ADCG) Khurram Pervaiz, Assistant Commissioner Sadar Umar Maqbool, CEO Health Dr Mushtaq Sipra, District Health Officer Dr. Bilal Ahmed, UNICEF representative Habib Leghari and other officials of the Health department were also present. Dr. Bilal said that 999 teams were participating in the drive to complete the task of vaccination. The DC ordered for mobilizing all-out efforts to achieve 100 per cent results of the campaign according to the plan. Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar inaugurated a 15-day typhoid vaccination campaign on January 27 at a hotel.

43,068 public complaints on Pakistan Citizen Portal disposed of National January 28, 2021 FAISALABAD: As many as 43,068 public complaints have been disposed of on the Pakistan Citizen Portal by various departments in the district. It was said by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali while chairing a meeting held to review the progress of disposed of complaints on the Pakistan Citizen Portal. Additional Deputy Commissioner Headquarters Muhammad Khalid, officers and focal persons of various district departments were also present. The meeting was informed that a total of 45,080 applications based problem issues had been received on the Pakistan Citizen Portal, including 886 new applications, and feedback was also taken from individuals on resolving the issues.

Provision of clean drinking water to citizens priority of govt: Sarwar

National January 11, 2021 FAISALABAD: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that the Sarwar Foundation is providing clean drinking water to two million people daily while water filtration plants are being set up in jails, hospitals, educational institutions and Police Lines. He said this while talking to media after inaugurating a water filtration plant at Chief Traffic Officer Office here on Sunday. Provincial Minister for Colonies and Culture Mian Khayal Ahmed Kastro, Parliamentarians Mian Farrukh Habib, Raja Riaz Ahmed, Firdous Rai, RPO Raja Rifat Mukhtar, SSP Operations Kashif Aslam, Chief Traffic Officer Shahzada Umar Abbas Babar, Assistant Commissioner Sadar Umar Maqbool, Political Advisor to Punjab Governor Zafar Sindhu, Overseas Committee Chairman Mirza Muhammad Asghar, police officers and leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf were also present.
