Bureau County Farm Bureau starts restaurant bingo in March

Bureau County Farm Bureau is sponsoring a Restaurant Bingo from March 1- March 31. Help support local restaurants and Celebrate National Ag Month.
Dine-in, drive-through, carry-out or get delivery from these restaurants on the Bingo Card until you get five-in-a-row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. You must spend a minimum of $15 before tax and tip at each restaurant to complete your Bingo. Eligible receipts must be dated March 1 through March 31.
When your completed Bingo card is received, you will be entered into the drawings. Prizes include one $100 gift card to Sullivan’s and one $100 gift card to Walnut Acres Country Store. Two Winners will be drawn April 5th!

The City’s new Foodie Friday invites local restaurants to join a restaurant bingo game every second Friday of the month that encourages residents to eat local while also earning prizes.
Restaurants, coffee shops, juice bars and more are encouraged to apply. Simply complete the short
restaurant application form, then become one of nine restaurants featured monthly as a part of the program.
Restaurants eligible to participate in Foodie Friday are locally-owned establishments that are located within the City of Santa Clarita, as well as unincorporated areas surrounding the City. When Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced earlier this week that a ban on in-person dining was extended through Dec. 20, Annette Nelson was crushed.
Nelson, manager at Stanz Cafe in Grand Haven, watched the governorâs news conference, hoping desperately that in-person dining would resume this past week.
âIt hit pretty hard,â she said. âI had done two schedules for the restaurant because I didnât know if we would be open or closed, so I had one for takeout and one for dine-in. I was very disappointed. I feel like restaurants are being unfairly targeted.â
Other restaurant owners across the area feel the same, and theyâre struggling.
