Team needs
Offense: Left Tackle, Right Tackle, Wide Receiver, Tight End
Last year, the Chiefs used their first round pick on running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. CEH turned in a solid first season with the Chiefs as their feature back. He recorded 803 rushing yards, 297 receiving yards, and five total touchdowns. The Chiefs can wait to get a wideout, but they need to get an offensive line to protect their franchise QB.
Defense: Defensive End, Linebacker, Cornerback
If the Chiefs are not feeling Sam Cosmi, Liam Eichenberg, or Brady Christensen, then they could opt to address their defense. This year’s draft class is top-heavy at CB with Patrick Surtain II, Jaycee Horn, and Caleb Farley. None of these three CBs will be around when the Chiefs pick at No. 31. However, Kansas City could take a shot on Asante Samuel Jr. or Greg Newsome II. As of right now, the Chiefs only have Charvarius Ward and Rashad Fent

Instead of focusing on the 31st ranked offense and adding a playmaker, any chance the Giants would look to go all in on their defense? Try and establish a truly dominate defense using most of their resources on that side of the ball? Seems to me their Defense is much closer to being dominate than their offense and with Saquon coming back maybe their offense could be ‘good enough.’
Ed says: Jason, defense is obviously a possibility at No. 11. I believe wide receiver is more likely, but the Giants have defensive needs and their will be deserving defensive players at 11. If the Giants took linebacker Micah Parsons [Prospect of the Week profile], or went with cornerbacks Patrick Surtain or Caleb Farley [round table debate]. If they selected an edge rusher I wouldn’t like it, but I would certainly understand it.

Pick 9 trade back with New England for Pick 15 and 46 (New England gets Trey Lance in this scenario and I m fine with that)
Pick 15 - Greggory Rousseau, Edge, Miami - I have gushed about Rousseau before, and I am still really high on him. Simply watching his game tape he just flat out pops. I think in this scenario if he s on the board here, we take him in a heart beat. I know this doesn t address the CB position, but honestly he can make up for a bunch of sins in the DBs.
