Mumbai, Mar 15: In the light of a rise in COVID- 19 cases, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Monday filed an FIR against actress Gauahar Khan for flouting Covid-19 rules.
According to the report, the actress had stepped out to shoot despite testing positive for Covid-19.
While tweeting the copy of the FIR, the BMC said, No Compromise On City s Safety! BMC has filed an FIR against a Bollywood actor for non-compliance to COVID19 guidelines on testing positive. The rules apply to all alike and we urge citizens to follow all guidelines and help the city beat the virus.

New Delhi, Mar 15: Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur on Monday said both the Centre and the states need to think about reducing taxes on petrol and diesel as their prices have risen sharply in the recent weeks.

Replying to a question in Lok Sabha, Thakur also said that the government was ready to discuss the issue of bringing petroleum products under the ambit of Goods and Services Tax (GST). The Centre is ready to consider the idea of reducing the tax on petrol and diesel, the states should also consider it, he said.

Mumbai, Mar 15: The Shiv Sena on Monday said the arrest of Mumbai police officer Sachin Vaze by the National Investigative Agency over the recovery of explosives from a car near industrialist Mukesh Ambani s residence was an insult of the Maharashtra Police, and alleged that it was being done deliberately.
