Dramatic visuals have emerged of protesters - backing farmers demand for repeal of centre s three contentious agriculture laws - pushing past a police barricade outside BJP minister s house in Haryana.

Farmers protest: Villagers in Haryana s Karnal have boycotted all BJP and JJP leaders.

Qadirabad has become the latest in a long line of villages in Haryana that have called for complete boycott of all leaders from state s ruling coalition parties - the BJP and the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) - including Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and his deputy Dushyant Chautala.

With more people joining their ongoing agitation in Haryana, the farmers ensured that no fee was collected from vehicles at toll plazas on national highways for the second day on Saturday. The farmers said they will make movement through toll plazas free on Sunday too.
Repeal farm laws: 11 Oppn parties
In a joint statement on Thursday, leaders of 11 Opposition parties demanded repeal of the three farm laws. They also termed the allegations levelled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has accused the parties of lying to the farmers, as “baseless”, stating that such accusations were a “complete travesty of truth”.
Helipad dug up, Dushyant’s visit off
Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala’s visit to the Uchana Kalan segment in Jind was cancelled after protesters dug up a helipad on the school premises where his helicopter was to land. TNS
Farmer unions rejected the letter terming it yet another “delaying tactic” by the government. Leaders of various unions will hold a meeting tomorrow to decide the further course of action. They want a written assurance on the MSP “even though that is not a part of the three laws”.

With pressure mounting on the BJP-JJP government in Haryana over the farmers’ protests, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Thursday offered to act as a mediator between the farmers and the Centre to resolve the standoff.
This came on a day a group of villagers used shovels to
damage a temporary helipad in his constituency Uchana in Jind – one of the districts that has seen farmers gathering in protest against the three new farm laws – where they claimed Chautala was to visit later in the day. They also released videos of the helipad being dug up.
