Toledo area homeowners fed up with loud, roving bands of off-road vehicles in neighborhoods, parks

TOLEDO, Ohio Toledoans are expressing frustration and anger with off-road vehicles making loud noise and ruining yards and parks.
It s happening all throughout the city and Toledo police have gotten many complaints.
Lt. Kellie Lenhardt, spokesperson with the Toledo Police Department, noted that recently groups of people riding on dirt bikes and four-wheelers are wreaking havoc on the community.

Green to hold drug take back day

GREEN – The Summit County Sheriff Department is participating in the National Drug Take Back Day on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 24 at Green Fire Station No. 2, 393 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road.
The event is part of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Drug Take Back Day to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring pills or patches only; drop-off sites cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
Green teacher on paid leave, under investigation after former student accused him of inappropriate behavior

GREEN, Ohio – A teacher at Green Middle School is under investigation by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office and has been placed on paid administrative leave after a woman who said she was his former student accused him of sending her inappropriate texts and messages.
As of Friday morning, the teacher had not been charged.
In a series of Twitter posts this week, a woman said her eighth-grade health teacher contacted her when she was a sophomore in high school to tell her she was attractive, and again contacted her after she graduated high school.
