Sheltair adds Apex Executive to FBO operation

Sheltair has added a 19th full-service FBO in Apex Executive Jet Center at Orlando Melbourne International Airport (MLB), which has been open to serve its customers from last Friday (April 23rd).
Sheltair’s newest location was approved last month by the Melbourne Airport Authority. The family-owned company will keep the Apex Executive Jet Center team, including the leadership of general manager Jamie Toler, customer service manager Jessica Blews, and line service manager Adam Morrow.
“Being a resident of Brevard County for over 20 years, I have proudly witnessed the growth of the Orlando Melbourne International Airport,” said Toler.

Sheltair has expanded its network with the addition of Apex Executive Jet Center, one of two full-service providers at Florida’s Orlando Melbourne International Airport (KMLB). For Sheltair the purchase represents its 19
th FBO and the 12
th in its home state.
The company has had a presence at KMLB since 1988 and already operated 250,000 sq ft of hangar space there. The new acquisition added another 52,000 sq ft of hangar space that can accommodate ultra-long-range business jets. Also included in the purchase was the 12,400-sq-ft terminal, which features a pilot lounge, flight planning area, 10-seat A/V-equipped conference room, refreshment bar, concierge, and available U.S. Customs.
