ATLANTA Pro-Trump attorney L. Lin Wood faces sanctions from the State Bar of Georgia for potentially violating one or more state rules of professional conduct.
The organization that governs and licenses all practicing attorneys in the state filed a more-than-1,600-page official grievance against Wood earlier this month for incompetences and making false statements. If the investigation accompanying the grievance proves its claims, Wood faces disbarment at the most.

One aide said that the proceedings will resemble a violent crime criminal prosecution.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump will take a break from golfing this week to closely follow his second impeachment trial on TV from his Mar-a-Lago residence
The trail kicks off Tuesday afternoon and could run straight through the weekend – with a potential conviction vote on Monday
David Schoen, one of Trump s lawyers, withdrew a request for a break to observe the Sabbath Friday through Saturday so the process could be streamlined

Cassidy previously agreed with Kentucky Senator Rand Paul and 43 other Republicans that impeaching an official who is no longer in office is against the Constitution
