The Kenyan media industry has seen a lot of developments with changing of structures, the entrance of new media houses as well as TV anchors and reporters moving from one station to another in search of greener pastures.
One such station that made an entry into the Kenyan market is China Global Television Network (CGTN) which has its Africa division (CGTN Africa) based in Nairobi Kenya - formerly known as
CCTV.
Over the years, the China-owned station has gone on to employ some of the talented Kenyan journalists in the industry with the goal of promoting a cultural connection between Africa and China.

The move comes a day after President Museveni, the electoral commission and the Attorney-General filed their 185 affidavits in response to the 53 grounds that the National Unity Platform (NUP) legal team had raised to prove that the election was rigged, and wasn t free and fair.
