The company had halted construction of the new store at the Cafaro Company-owned mall earlier in the outbreak during the state’s discontinued stay-at-home order. Construction resumed later, but with smaller crews and at a slower pace because of the outbreak.
More than one out of every three Ohioans have completed the COVID-19 vaccination process.
The number of people in the state getting COVID-19 inoculations has slowed in the past three to four weeks, but Ohio surpassed a milestone Wednesday as 33.71 percent of the population was fully vaccinated.
Also, 4,757,887 people, 40.7 percent of the state’s population, had at least started getting inoculated as of 6 a.m. Wednesday, including 21,465 in the previous 24 hours, according to the Ohio Department of Health.
In Mahoning County, 40.23 percent of the population (92,004 people) had received at least one dose, along with 38.34 percent of the population in Trumbull County (75,910 people) and 32.7 percent in Columbiana County (33,313 people) as of 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to the ODH.
