She failed her freshman year at Easton Area High School and was sent to Easton Area Academy to get back on track. The 21-year-old biomedical student frequently missed school because she was trying to meet the needs of her four siblings and her mother. Her father wasn’t available to help. He was murdered by his girlfriend in Bethlehem in 2007.

Jan 6, 2021 In an effort to give teachers more time to teach students amid the pandemic, Easton Area High School is dropping all of its final exams for the spring semester. Principal Kyle Geiger says the school is behind on instruction and using those exam days will provide teachers more time to focus on skills and content. He pointed to surveys from parents where common complaints were about their kids learning less due to them not having enough work and a lack of live instruction to support their decision. If you continue to refuse to perform your duty, the Senate will proceed to replace you, Sen. Jake Corman told Lt. Gov. John Fetterman. Shortly after that comment Senate Republicans did just that, removing Fetterman from his role as Senate President. That all happened after Republicans refused to allow Democrat Jim Brewster to take the oath of office because of an ongoing challenge to his narrow victory in November. His opponent, Nicole Ziccarelli, says Allegheny County counted more than 300 votes that should have been thrown out and without those votes, she and not Brewster would have won. Brewster s 69 vote victory has been certified by the state.

Bonnie K. Stocker, 66, died on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at her home, after a well-fought battle against cancer. A resident of Millington since 1988, she was a parishioner of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, serving as a chorister, a vestry member and a participant in the Thursday curia. Mrs. McGrath was a BSA Pack 56 Den 14 mom and a Troop 56 Eagle mom; and an enthusiastic user and supporter of the Long Hill Township Library. Bonnie Stocker was born in Easton, Pa., to Madeline (Repsher) and Frederick Stocker. After graduation from Easton Area High School, and studies at Temple University and the Fashion Institute of Technology, she worked for Fairchild Publications, where she met her husband Frank McGrath, and later in banking as a currency trader.
