Mashle picks up right where it left off, as Rayne’s black magic comes hurtling toward Margarette. He attempts to block the attack, but to no avail; the dark energy destroys everything in its path. Margarette walks away with surprisingly minimal damage, retreating to save his injured comrades. The fight was short-lived, but we’ll be seeing Margarette again very soon. Mash comes out from hiding to thank Rayne. The stone-faced Rayne continues to show his soft side, already thinking about Mash’s future. Words of encouragement aren’t his strong suit, but nonetheless, Rayne offers Mash his full support for the upcoming selection exam.

Following the chaos that ensued at Easton Academy, Mash and friends enjoy some time off-campus. This is our first chance to see the students in some streetwear, so what digs are they going with? Well… Dot is head-to-toe in knight armor, Lance is reppin’ his favorite siscon shirt, and Mash literally rolls up on an ab roller… can’t say I’m surprised.
