DPO seeks report on cops’ ‘support’ to land grabbers July 7, 2021 JHANG: The DPO on Tuesday took notice of Satellite Town police officials’ alleged support to land grabbers and sought a report from the SHO and investigation head of the police. Irshad Khan, Zahid Khan, Shahid Khan and Sardar Asfar, residents of Chak Syedwala, situated in the limits of Satellite Town police, informed DPO Sarfraz Khan Virk that two sub-inspectors posted at Satellite police station were allegedly patronising the land grabbers who also had criminal record. The victims told the DPO that the land grabbers allegedly tried to occupy their piece of agricultural land with the help of some police officials before completion of the process of bifurcation of land by the Revenue Department. They pointed out that being the affectees of Marbella Dam, the piece of land was allotted to them in 1973 and it was being cultivated since then.
