LAHORE: In order to activate South Punjab Civil Secretariat, 30 officers of Provincial Management Service (PMS) have been transferred and posted against different posts. In this connection, Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) has issued a notification Monday. Punjabâs Additional Chief Secretary Iram Bukhari said the officersâ appointment was made to activate the South Punjab Civil Secretariat so that peopleâs problems could be addressed at their doorsteps. She said all the vacant posts would be filled on priority basis.

Punjab Govt Begins Forcibly Retiring Corrupt Employees
The government of Punjab has started forced retirement of corrupt and incompetent employees after 20 years of service.
As per reports, the government has written a letter to the provincial departments asking for lists of corrupt officers to be submitted within ten days.
Action will be taken against these officers under the Punjab Civil Servants Directory Retirement Service Rules 2021.
