Friday Night Forecast for February 26th:
Heavy rain showers will continue to develop parallel to I-40 tonight with the bulk of the heavy rain staying south of the interstate. The rain will move out overnight but storms could return Saturday evening north of I-40 and stronger storms are expected Sunday in the afternoon & evening as well.
It will be a warm but wet weekend across West Tennessee. Highs will be well into the 60s this weekend. Some areas could see 4-5″ of total rain by Monday morning so an isolated flooding concern could arise by early next week.
