RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) A pickup truck caught on fire and those flames spread into a building in Raleigh.
It happened before the sun came up Tuesday morning on Navaho Drive off Wake Forest Road near the Raleigh Beltline. There was like a really loud booming noise and that woke me up. I was like I know I heard something so I looked out my window and right outside my window was a truck on fire, Jalesa Williams said. I grabbed as much stuff as I could, blankets, shoes and we went outside.
Investigators said nobody was injured, but 11 adults and eight children were displaced from their homes at The Pointe at Midtown apartment complex.
