Six month ban for Minchinhampton driver A 55-YEAR-OLD Minchinhampton man has been banned from driving for six months after he was convicted of driving without insurance and a valid licence in Cirencester. Ian Jarman, of Hampton Fields, was found guilty of the offences via the single justice procedure after he failed to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on January 27. Magistrates heard how Jarman was caught driving on the A419 Cirencester without insurance on May 23, last year. He was also found to be driving with a expired substantive licence. Jarman was fined £660, ordered to pay a £66 victim surcharge and costs of £90.
