Gnahoua on scoring Wanderers winner on Sunday League pitch at Mansfield ARTHUR Gnahoua says his experience of Sunday League football helped him cope with the mud at Mansfield on Wednesday night. The Bolton winger came off the bench to score a dramatic late winner – just 11 minutes after Mansfield had registered a two-goal lead. And though the former Macclesfield Town man wondered before the game if the match could be postponed for a third time, he was certainly glad it lasted the course as he made light work of the mud with his third goal of the season. “When I was younger I’d train on bad pitches, so I think I’m used to it. They don’t really bother me,” he said of the Field Mill quagmire.
Hindle left The Bluebirds after his short-term deal with the club expired last month. The departing Hindle tweeted at the time: “I would like to say thank you for all the memories over the last two and a half seasons at Barrow AFC, as my time had come to an end. “I wish the club nothing, but success in the future.” Announcing his move to the Far East, he said: So happy to have got this done and be out in Malaysia. Can t wait to get started. Hindle was given his first taste of the National League when he signed for AFC from Colwyn Bay in summer 2018 and made a stunning start to his time at Holker Street by scoring twice on his competitive debut against Havant & Waterlooville.

With a penchant for spectacular goals, he became a fans’ favourite in six years with the Posh but left for a six-month loan spell at Hull City in January 2020, after which he signed for Charlton as a free agent.
