REIGNING SHELL Tranquility Open Tennis Tournament women s singles champion Carlista Mohammed will defend her crown against Ella Carrington when the final serves off at the club’s courts on Victoria Avenue, Port of Spain, on Monday, from 3 pm.
In Sunday’s semi-final, the top-seeded Mohammed swept past Cameron Wong with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 display. Carrington, however, had some work to do against Osenyonye Nwokolo in the second ‘semi’ but prevailed 6-3, 6-3.
