After days of ignoring mounting tension in Jerusalem despite weeks of warnings from two Arab governments, US President Joe Biden finally acknowledged the issue on Wednesday – but only after the crisis had led to a barrage of Hamas rocket attacks and deadly Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip.
Mr Biden’s first public comments on the crisis largely stuck to the traditional pro-Israel talking points, emphasising Israel s right to self-defence without addressing the forced displacement of Palestinians in occupied territory such as Sheikh Jarrah.
He stressed the need to avoid civilian casualties in a phone call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but his reluctance to emphasise Palestinian rights and exert pressure on Israel as he belatedly tries to manage the crisis stands in contrast to much of the Democratic Party – from pro-Palestinian progressives to pro-Israel centrists – including advocacy groups that worked to get him elected in the first place.

JNS.org – When the Israeli military aircraft hit sites on April 16 linked to the Gaza Strip’s terrorist Hamas government, including an armaments production facility and a smuggling tunnel, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was quick to attribute the incident to “Israel’s hatred of Islam.” He said:
“This is, of course, a very clear indication of Israel’s attitude towards Muslims, unfortunately. We know of Israel’s hatred of Islam. But unfortunately, they do not give up on these habits. The Israeli administration does not give up on such behaviors. In the face of [Israel’s] hatred of religion and its hostility to Islam, we want all of humanity to monitor Israel’s hostility to Islam more closely and evaluate [this hostility] accordingly. As long as Israel maintains this attitude, it is not possible

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - An Israeli national pleaded guilty Wednesday for his role in operating DeepDotWeb (DDW), a website that connected internet users with Darknet marketplaces, where they purchased illegal firearms, malware and hacking tools, stolen financial data, heroin and fentanyl, and other contraband.

In addition to providing general information about the Darknet, DDW provided users with direct links to illegal Darknet marketplaces, which are not accessible through traditional search engines. For providing these links, Prihar and Phan received kickback payments from the marketplaces in the form of virtual currency, including approximately 8,155 bitcoins (worth appr
Kranczer left New York City and fled to Israel in November 2010 to allegedly escape prosecution.
At Kranczer s arraignment, the defense said Kranzcer ran a Yeshiva for developmentally disabled boys when he was in Brooklyn. A senior NYPD official with knownledge of the decade-long investigation said a relative had driven Kranczer to the airport for a flight to Israel and confirmed he landed in 2010.
In late 2010, the NYPD contacted the Israel-based Intel Liaison Unit detectives to request the assistance of Israel National Police. Detectives were already having conversations with the victims family at this point, for crimes going back to 1996.
The senior NYPD official said there were crimes Kranczer allegedly committed until 2003. At that time, there was talk of him surrendering but that never about. The police department began trying to locate Kranczer in Israel but there were no results.
