An overlooked piece of North Texas history is for sale.
Drivers probably don’t spare a second glance for the three-story building at 200 W. John Carpenter Freeway in Irving.
The 190,000-square-foot office building is easy to overlook among the towers lining the highway.
But the nondescript property is worth noting it was the first building constructed in Las Colinas.
Built in 1976, the project was originally the regional office for Allstate Insurance. It more recently housed some operations for Vistra Energy.
