Doctors missed multiple chances to diagnose a serious heart condition before it killed a young mum after she gave birth to a baby girl. Susan McLoughlin, 33, suffered a cardiac arrest shortly after undergoing a caesarean section on October 21, 2019, leaving her devastated partner Jason McKevitt to raise their four children alone. Nine days before her death Susan, from Netherton, had been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, a rare and dangerous form of high blood pressure which damages the right side of the heart and arteries in the lungs.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) â Myrtle Beach police are investigating after a child died after being pulled from a resort pool.
The Horry County Coronerâs Office said the incident happened around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Ocean Reef Resort near 71st Avenue North.
Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said five-year-old Shane Chester was rushed to Grand Strand Medical Center after being taken out of the pool but died less than an hour later.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Arrest warrants are providing further information into a shooting that took place early Monday morning at a Myrtle Beach resort.
Herman Brian White, 37, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder, unlawful neglect of a child and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
A judge denied bond for White during a hearing on Monday.
According to arrest warrants from the Myrtle Beach Police Department, officers were called to the Bali Bay Resort on South Ocean Boulevard on April 5 in reference to a shooting.
