Tom Bailey is the owner of the wildest Chevy Camaro dragster out there. It s called Sick Seconds and it runs the quarter-mile in less than six clicks thanks to a 4,000-horsepower V8. To top it all off, Sick Seconds is, to some extent, a road-legal dragster. But Tom is working on an even wilder car, a gasser-style 1955 Chevrolet Nomad. And it s called Sickness. 6 photos
Having showcased Sick Seconds Camaro at various events, including Drag Week (which he won four times), Bailey is now putting together a dragster that aims to do as many things wrong as possible, while still being fast. What does that mean exactly? Well, apparently Sickness will run on three choices of fuels: gas, methanol, and nitro.

Multiyear Hot Rod Drag Week overall winner Tom Bailey announced he is building a new car in a live event on his YouTube channel.
He will be collaborating with fellow Drag Week competitor Dennis Taylor, owner of Dennis Taylor Hot Rods, to build a 1955 Chevy Nomad wagon to be powered by a screw-supercharged Steve Morris SMX engine. Tom told Hot Rod that he plans to unveil the finished car at this year s SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. His 2019 Drag Week winning Six Seconds 2.0 Camaro is still being repaired from a fire that happened at the NHRA Gatornationals earlier this year, but Tom says it will be ready for Drag Week, which is scheduled to start on September 12 at Martin, Michigan.
