Author: Local 5 News Updated: 10:32 PM CDT July 19, 2021 DES MOINES, Iowa Another Des Moines City Council meeting disrupted by protesters resulted in several individuals being removed from the Council Chambers and arrested Monday evening.  According to the Des Moines Police Department, three adults were arrested Monday night and a juvenile was released to parents and referred to Juvenile Courts on Criminal Trespass.  Those arrested include:  Kathleen Galloway-Menke, 47, of Johnston for Interference with Official Acts Jacob Grobe, 42, of Des Moines with Interference with Official Acts Police said additional or amended charges may follow.

Angela Elder-Johnson, Clerk of Superior, Magistrate, and Juvenile Courts for Oconee County, confirmed on Friday morning that Price had not filed suit in Superior Court by the end of the day on Thursday. Oconee County Attorney Daniel Haygood also confirmed on Friday that Thursday was the 30-day deadline for Price to file the suit to challenge the May 4 decision of the Board of Commissioners to deny Price s rezone request.

Therefore, it is important to have special courts and mechanisms specifically for the needs of the country’s children. Child Courts, also known as Juvenile Courts and Child Protection Courts, have been established in Pakistan under the Juvenile Justice System Act (JJSA) 2018, to improve the juvenile justice system for children in conflict or in contact with the law and to provide them with child-sensitive and fair justice. The JJSA 2018 defines a child as a person under 18 years of age. However, the state has failed to protect children, pre-, during and post-trial due to shortfalls in the law’s implementation.
